Will the Smith

I am a wayward fire.
My name is drowned in the marsh.

I bear an ember through the gate.
But those who follow are lost.
The peat beneath me smolders.
The fog buries your step.

Thank you. It is strange, considering I started out doing long-form that it would come round again...lol

I'm primarily a short-form writer who's always shocked when she manages to write something long! Opposite of your case, it would seem :)

Well, whatever form you use, it is always beautiful:)

I wrote a whole series of mythology and fairytale-based poems in university (most of which make me cringe now)...lol
