Crystal Head

So I discovered today, while reading The Globe and Mail at work, that my crystal skull filled with vodka is Canadian. In fact, it is made by a company Dan Akroyd owns. And it is filtered using quartz crystals (which is what the legendary skulls are made from). I only wanted it because it was a crystal skull of course. Although the vodka really is quite tasty with cranberry juice. I should probably name the skull, and perhaps it would like a companion?

I wonder what sorts of things you could put in it once it's empty...?

You know, I was wondering the same thing. Maybe paint the glass for Día de los Muertos? It does bear some pondering.

The bottleneck looks too narrow for many things, but coloured sand layers or feeding in a string of tiny lights looks possible.

Dry ice would be a bad and explosive idea, wouldn't it?

Yes, I ruled out candles for that reason--and the horrible mess. Lights might work though. Dry ice...ooooo. It probably would be a bit 'splody though;) I love when things blow up. I watched Hot Fuzz on the weekend so um..yes..lol

Hot Fuzz is a good brains-off movie.

oh cool :)

definitely you should name it! but not until it's empty, because drinking the brains of something named would just be weird :)

Would she be drinking the brains or would it be the essence of the skull?

J says that you shouldn't name the skull Bob.
